March 13, 2019It's been decades since I read John Steinbeck's "East of Eden," but I have quoted this line more than any other from that classic. We do seem to naturally mark our lives more by events than the eventless periods.
The launch of our new and improved website earlier this month seemed like the appropriate time to re-introduce the blog - especially now that it can appear within the site itself. How amusing then to discover that the last post from the old blog was announcing the last redesign of the website nearly five years ago! In this case, however, the lack of blog posts is not evidence of eventlessness in the world of Blessed Pier Giorgio or the ministry of FrassatiUSA! So much has been happening!
Steinbeck also wrote, "A man without words is a man without thought." After nearly 25 years of delving into the life of Blessed Frassati, I have plenty of thoughts. Time will tell, if the words will follow in the form of future posts. Verso l'alto! ///cmw
