Mount Camino

Although Mount Mucrone is more often associated with Blessed Frassati, he certainly would have enjoyed the breathtaking view from atop Mount Camino from time to time.  Both mountains can be reached by taking the cable car from Oropa to the landing point and then heading off on foot from there.  (Of course, for serious climbers with much more time and energy, it is not necessary to take the cable car.)

For an extra fee, you can take the individual cage ride to fairly near the top of Mount Camino.  All of the details can be found on the website for the Funivie di Oropa.  Schedules for different seasons of the year, prices, and even webcams are available.
